  • The key difference between therapy and coaching lies in their focus, scope, and approach:

    • Therapy addresses mental health challenges, emotional healing, and past experiences that may be impacting an individual’s current life. It often involves diagnosing and treating conditions like anxiety, depression, or trauma, and works toward emotional regulation, self-awareness, and healing. Therapy provides a safe space to process unresolved issues while fostering personal growth and wholeness.

    • Coaching focuses on future-oriented goals, personal or professional growth, and optimizing performance. It is action-driven, helping individuals identify their strengths, set clear objectives, and develop strategies to achieve specific outcomes. Unlike therapy, coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions but rather empowers individuals to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and unlock their potential in areas such as career, sports performance, or lifestyle balance.

While both aim to facilitate growth and well-being, therapy focuses on healing, whereas coaching focuses on performance, growth, and forward progress.
